We’re entering the final full week of June with 44 days left until Masters Nationals—and this week is all about taking your fitness and sharpening it into race-season readiness.
Expect three focused practices designed to:
Fire up your sprint starts
Push your threshold pace deeper
Clean up your technique under light fatigue
🗓️What’s Coming This Week
⚡️ Practice 36 (Monday, June 23)
Front-End Speed + Wall Discipline
Sprint-focused rounds with recovery between bursts. Each wall matters. Each breakout should feel sharp, not forced.
🔥 Practice 37 (Wednesday, June 25)
Threshold Grit + Negative Splits
Long aerobic pressure with strategic pacing. This one builds your back-half race ability.
🔁 Practice 38 (Friday, June 27)
Stroke Tempo + Form Under Fatigue
Moderate intensity with just enough load to test your efficiency and stroke variety. Great way to finish the week with polish.
💥 Sample Set from Practice 37
Main Set – 3 Rounds:
1x300 Freestyle @ 4:30 – Negative split
2x100 Pull @ 1:35 – Even pacing
2x50 Kick @ 1:00
1x100 Descend across rounds
(Rest :30–:45 between rounds)
🎯 What We’re Working This Week:
Sprint pacing without loss of form
Aerobic strength meets technical discipline
Stroke-specific rhythm and transitions
Laying the foundation for July’s race-pace integration
💬 Reminder:
Every 25 you swim this week is one more notch in the build toward Nationals.
Don’t just train harder—train sharper.
Let’s close out June with intention.
